Functionality and design of market system infrastructure functions (hardware/software interfaces to market participants' systems, and to SCADA/EMS, Metering, Billing and Settlements systems, life cycle management, submission and validation of bids/offers, funds administration, commercial reconciliation, prudential risk management, archival/management of historical data base, market information management, reports, operator and market participant GUI, web and market participant interface security and control, etc.) as they apply to real-time and forward electricity markets.
Supervision review and approval of test plans and procedures for testing market systems applications functions in the vendor's factory and, after delivery at site.
Supervise of Level-1 engineering support to Wholesale Energy Market system operators.
Supervision of training of Wholesale Energy Market system stakeholders and market participants about the applications features of the Marketing Management System (MMS)
Supervision of training of SEC WEM stakeholders and market participants about the infrastructure features of the SEC WEM system by the vendor's and SE's engineers.
Good knowledge of large computing system integration, security techniques, usage of ORACLE, Java, C++,UNIX/AIX. |
